Clifford is a diverse gated community with lots of activities and families. Clifford Estates has walking paths, parks and playgrounds, and a dedicated entrance to DaFuShan Park, a beautiful forest park with cycling and hiking paths. There are stores, restaurants, and movie theatres within walking distance of the school. Public transportation within the community is free and connects to the Clifford Bus terminal, where you can get buses directly to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, the Guangzhou Metro system, train stations, and the international airport.

Clifford International School is a Grade 1-12 school with an enrollment of over 600 students. We employ more than 50 international teachers, primarily from Canada. We are a Manitoba affiliated school, and our students graduate with a Manitoba high school diploma. 

Class size: 24-30 students per class

Teaching assignment: 1000 minutes per week plus supervision and participation in extra-curricular activities

Year calendar: 198 working days. Holidays include a week for National Day, about 10 days for Christmas, and 3 weeks for Chinese New Year in addition to several long weekends throughout the year.

Applicants must have the following:

• A valid passport from a primarily English-speaking country: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, USA, or South Africa.
• A degree in education and a valid teaching license from their home country (Manitoba and/or other Canadian certification is an asset).
• Preference is given to teachers who are in China with a valid work permit.
• Two years’ experience are an asset.
